About Dr. Dhaliwal
Dr. Dhaliwal is a postdoctoral fellow currently working toward licensure in California. She has extensive clinical experience providing mental health services in a variety of outpatient settings, including forensic community health, juvenile detention facilities, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. Her diverse clinical background during her graduate studies has equipped her to deliver culturally competent care with compassion and sensitivity.
Dr. Dhaliwal is skilled in treating a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, chronic pain, tinnitus, insomnia, and relapse prevention for both juvenile and adult sex offenders.
While primarily trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dr. Dhaliwal takes a collaborative approach to treatment. She dedicates time to understanding each patient’s unique needs, applying a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions. Her nonjudgmental, empathetic style allows her to form strong connections with patients, fostering an environment where healing and progress are possible.
